Job Description

Responsibilities:
The driver services customers daily, and works with the sales lead who coordinates "smash demonstrations" and truck routes with the goal of reaching sales and efficiency targets Driving our 25,000-pound truck on a specific route of customers each day of the week and smashing down the trash in their dumpsters Skillfully operating the hydraulic machine equipment to smash our clients' trash Follow all quality control procedures to ensure our customers are happy with the overall service you provide Working as a team member and facilitate SMASH demos to prospects with our Smash My Trash Sales Representative Help the Account Manager at area events and programs by bringing our Smash My Trash truck to events, and help field any technical questions about the truck and smash system Carefully and thoroughly inspect your truck before and after each trip, documenting check list results using smartphones and state of the art apps Maintain our truck and equipment by reporting any issues or incidents to dispatch, inspecting the truck before and after each trip, and keeping the truck clean inside and out Attending training events to ensure you are kept up to date on any new Smash My Trash truck features, upgrades, or changes to the operating procedures Qualifications Previous experience in machine operation, truck driving, waste management, hydraulics, or other related fields Driver's License (Required) Driver's license with solid background check and driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical exam, a background check, and a drug screening Ability to interact with customers and exude a friendly, "can-do" attitude Ability to handle moderate physical workload Someone with a strong work ethic and can stick to a route schedule in a timely and safe way A minimum of 2 years' experience safely driving and operating trucks of similar size

Initial interviews will be done remotely.

$22.50 - $23.00 per hour
