The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to designated locations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle various driving situations, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers. Duties
- Transport clients to and from pre-determined destinations as required
- Work with staff at all facilities to meet client transportation needs
- Proactively review assigned trips in order to plan daily schedule and ensure members can be transported to and from destinations on time
- Accurately complete and return drive logs and any other requested forms
- Accurately record hours via time clock system
- Ensure monthly vehicle checks are completed.
- Communicate any mechanical issues to supervisor
- Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance between supervisor and vendor
- Assist in agency vehicle cleaning, including taking to the car wash
- Assist in making sure agency vehicles have the appropriate fuel in them for transportation
- Assist in logging vehicle expenses in tracker
- Maintain a level of professionalism established by the agency Code of Professional Conduct and Integrity
- Maintain appropriate, effective, and efficient communication with direct supervisor and other staff.
- Proactively communicate any conflicts of interest with clients and/or referral partners to leadership team.
- Seek additional supervision to manage any ethical dilemmas or personal values conflicts and for appropriate treatment planning as needed.
- Handle inter/intrapersonal conflicts and day to day challenges professionally and assertively during supervision and directly with staff member involved, avoiding triangulation behaviors.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the agency, including but not limited to the Drug Free Workplace Policy.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pmQualifications:
- Current driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Daily Travel is required (Evansville area and surrounding counties. On occasion may have to travel farther, but no overnight travel)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively take direction
- Have and maintain a driving record with no DUIs, OWIs, no points, no suspensions, or any other negative results not listed
- Working knowledge of cell phones, computer hardware and software
