Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including, roll-off truck, flatbeds, and dump trucks, will be essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced construction company that values reliability and professionalism. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip Ability to work on equipment or have mechanical experience would be a bonus Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other loading equipment Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and freight handling Prior experience with freight transportation involving manual transmission vehicles is preferred Ability to operate tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off and straight truck confidently while maintaining safety standards Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an integral part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence.
