In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in handling different trailer types, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation that values professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across diverse routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security Drive a variety of trailers including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver goods efficiently Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip Load freight onto trucks securely, balancing weight distribution for safe transport on tractor-trailers and other heavy-duty vehicles Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any route or delivery issues promptly Experience Proven truck driving experience with a valid CDL license, preferably with experience in commercial driving environments involving freight delivery Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Experience in load & unload operations using forklifts or other loading equipment is highly desirable Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations, including proper handling of freight like freight containers or hazardous materials (if applicable) Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting to maintain vehicle safety and compliance Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced setting Join us as a CDL Driver and become an essential part of our logistics team!
