Rubbish Works of North Indianapolis is a locally operated junk removal company serving residential and commercial clients. We specialize in removing unwanted items—furniture, appliances, yard debris, construction waste, and more—while providing top-tier customer service and eco-friendly disposal options.Position Overview:
We're seeking a dependable and motivated Driver & Team Lead to join our junk removal crew. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, leading a small team, and delivering excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, overseeing daily job operations, and ensuring each project is completed efficiently and professionally. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at the ground level, with plenty of potential for long-term growth and advancement.Responsibilities:
Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver's license required) Lead a small crew in completing junk removal jobs efficiently and safely Communicate clearly with customers, provide estimates, and collect payments as needed Ensure professional service and customer satisfaction on every job Train and mentor crew members on procedures and safety standards Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic inspections, and report any issues Handle and dispose of materials responsibly according to company guidelinesRequirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day Strong leadership and communication skills Dependable, professional, and punctual Experience driving larger vehicles or towing trailers preferred Previous experience in a crew lead, moving, junk removal, or construction role a plusCompensation & Benefits:
