Drivers will operate under our carrier authority, giving you access to consistent freight without needing your own MC. Duties Safely operate 26-foot box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement. Deliver goods to various customer locations within assigned regional routes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism. Provide excellent customer service by interacting courteously with clients during deliveries and pickups. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, following planned schedules and optimizing delivery sequences. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving equipment, forklift operation, and pallet jacks. Ability to perform manual transmission driving and handle physical tasks involving heavy lifting regularly. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Knowledge of route planning and driving regulations within regional areas. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively on daily routes.
