Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver specializing in mobile home transport! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of specialized trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds. You will be responsible for safely transporting mobile homes and freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload mobile homes and freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices Transport mobile homes via route driving, ensuring secure delivery to customers or storage facilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including mobile homes, flatbeds, carriers, and other specialized equipment Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and potential issues Assist with securing loads on flatbeds to prevent shifting during transit Experience Valid CDL with endorsements for manual transmission operation and specialized trailers (flatbed) Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or commercial freight delivery Prior experience in load & unload operations using forklifts or other lifting equipment preferred Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for transporting mobile homes or large freight Familiarity with handling various types of freight including refrigerated goods, tankers, or heavy equipment such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial driving hours and vehicle maintenance Delivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality and customer service skills Join us to drive your career forward in a role that combines technical skill with the thrill of the open road! Pay:
$25.93 - $31.22 per hour
