Independent Contractor Driver Needed Pay is 22% per load Minimum 23 years of age Minimum of 2 years driving 26 Foot Straight Truck experience Must be customer oriented, professional and have impeccable communication Must be able to following instructions Must be willing to driver assist and load and unload freight onto trucks as forklifts are

on our company trucks Must wear as per safety PPE Hi VIS Vest, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses and Close Toed Shoes or Steel Boots Willing to comply with all federal, state and local laws Must have a good driving record for insurance purposes Pass a background and motor vehicle check Must have DOT medical card or be willing to attain one prior to starting Illinois drivers must have Class C drivers license Must be willing to work Over The Road, Local and Regional Must be willing to complete Amazon Relay Loads Responsibilities Safely operate a provided vehicle to transport passengers or freight in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Deliver goods or passengers promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or passengers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments Assist with loading and unloading cargo or assisting passengers with mobility needs when necessary Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition reports Uphold customer service standards by providing friendly, respectful interactions and addressing any concerns professionally Experience Proven 2 years of experience in operating commercial trucks, shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles involving passenger or freight transportation Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements such as driver certifications or equivalent Experience in paratransit services or heavy lifting tasks preferred but not required Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as needed Prior experience with limousine or school bus driving is advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous driving roles Embark on a rewarding career that combines independence with the thrill of delivering excellent service!
