We specialize in flatbed and conestoga freight including steel, lumber, and landscape supplies. We currently have 8 full time drivers and are looking for outgoing, personable, and willing to learn individuals to join the team. All drivers are treated with respect from everyone and freight is only scheduled that fits the driver's schedule and abilities. We love to create people and elevate skills, not just throw you in a truck and let you go. But if you have experience as a driver or with flatbed, we can grow even faster. We run primarily day trips and short regional runs that may require 1 to 2 nights out a week. We will never send drivers out without knowing when and how they will get back home. 90% of our freight is repeat and dedicated lanes with long standing customers. If you have flatbed experience that is great, but we can train if you are looking to get started. Class A driving experience is required. The more adaptable and willing to learn new things you are, the more successful we can be together. We typically work 10-12 hour days 5 days a week and rarely weekends. We run all Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks and equipment is kept in excellent shape. If you are looking to get your career in flatbed started or taken to the next level, be sure to reach out. Salary:

• Percentage pay based on experience.

$80,000 - $110,000+. (Opportunity is endless) o Open to offering different pay structures o Bonus opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items & safety issues before and after trip ( record/report all findings )
• Plan routes using Maps or GPS and meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor Road Conditions & watch for traffic hazards (Take special precautions)
• Tie down & tarp loads to ensure safe transportation
• Keep Truck, Trailer, and Equipment in good working order (Fill truck with fuel, clean truck, wash windows, and top off any fluids if applicable during transport).
• Deliver load by the predetermined time ( Customer Service is top priority )
• Document hours of service and miles spent driving.
• Retain Fuel/Toll receipts
• Report any incidents, accidents, or violations encountered on the road.
• Comply with Truck Driving rules and regulations (size weight, route designations, parking & break periods) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Retain all paperwork for each load.

Sign and retain copies of BOL upon delivery.

Qualifications:

Driving:

2 years (Required)

• CDL Class A
• Clean driving record
• US work authorization (required)
• Able to tie down freight using straps, chains, and tarps
• Must possess a high degree of integrity and have the ability to work independently
• Solid work ethic and be someone the team can rely on.
