In this energetic role, you will operate a range of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in manual transmission driving and route navigation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers and specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes. Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual handling techniques when necessary. Deliver freight to various locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery windows. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, load manifests, and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered on the road. Follow all safety protocols related to driving manual transmission vehicles and handling different types of cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently. Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling and route driving preferred. Familiarity with operating specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, including hours of service and vehicle maintenance standards. Experience with load & unload procedures for various cargo types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or roll-off containers is advantageous.
