Job Description
Overview:
Are you a strong leader with the ability to manage a team and tackle physical challenges? We are an established event rental company seeking a dedicated Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a crew responsible for delivering rental items to our customers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. - Lead and supervise a team of workers, providing clear direction and motivation.
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and work assignments, ensuring timely completion.
- Train new crew members on job duties, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Maintain open communication with team members, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor work quality to meet high standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lift, load, and unload heavy items with the assistance of dollies, powered dollies, and other equipment.
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to deliver rental items to customers.
- Perform deliveries in various weather conditions, including hot summers and inclement weather.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients.
- Be available to work weekends and some holidays as required.
Requirements:
- Mus proficient in driving trucks up to one ton and experienced in pulling trailers of various sizes. Must demonstrate excellence in all aspects of trailer handling, including: Confidently backing up trailers in tight spaces Navigating safely through various environments Securing loads properly and following safety protocols
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
- Clean background and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal Pay:
$18.00- $20.
