Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that keeps our supply chain moving efficiently! In this position, you'll be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at each destination while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety standards. Manage the secure transport of freight, including specialized cargo following all safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each journey. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle condition reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transportation. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and tractor-trailers with proficiency. Prior experience handling flatbeds is highly desirable. Familiarity with load & unload procedures and route driving across diverse terrains. Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of trucks operated (such as tanker or refrigeration).
