Rockford, Illinois Job Summary:

The Class C CDL Driver position will transport, load, and unload freight using a dry van trailer, forklift, and pallet jack. Responsibilities include completing paperwork, conducting equipment inspections, and following all applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a vehicle requiring a Class C CDL license. Operate a forklift, pallet jack and dry van trailer to move freight. Load and unload trailers. Transport, deliver, unload and stock freight in a safe and secure manner in accordance with applicable law, company policies, and customer specifications. Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow f information and compliance with applicable law and company policy. Inspect equipment and vehicles before and after each shift, reporting any defects or safety concerns. Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies. Follow all company policies, including workplace safety protocols, harassment-free workplace policies, and anti-discrimination guidelines in compliance with applicable law.
