Driving Manual transmission Commercial driving Tanker Endorsement Full Job Description Wetterau Homestead Inc. is looking for qualified OTR tanker drivers. These individuals will be transporting food grade tanker loads in our dedicated lanes along the
I-80/I-90
corridor in which most are drop and hook and
NO TOUCH FREIGHT.
Drivers can expect 3,000-3,700 miles weekly and are home every week 1-2 days. Wetterau Homestead Inc. has top of the line, well maintained equipment. New Peterbilt 579 trucks available. Trailers are all air-ride food grade tankers. As a family owned business, we also value the importance of an excellent work/family-life balance for our employees. Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate an over the road truck to transport goods and materials to various destinations
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Requirements:
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to work independently
