Drives patients or residents to various locations. Ensures the vehicle is clean and safe to operate such as checking oil levels, gas, etc. Picks up supplies and other equipment as needed. Maintain mileage trip tickets for vehicles. Follows proper protocol when handling patients or residents.

Specialized knowledge of driving straight truck and tractor/trailer road truck. Specialized knowledge of vehicle laws pertaining to truck and transportation. Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repairs. Ability to supervise proper loading and unloading of trucks. Ability to drive in all types of weather. Ability to read maps and understand written directions. Ability to obtain appropriate vehicle operator license. Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $31,668.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in theLife:

The ideal candidate in this role should minimally have: a valid Indiana Public Passenger Chauffeur License.Related certifications and coursework may be considered for education or experience.
