Job Description
This role will support operations at a major grocery retailer by ensuring that delivery vehicles are available, clean, and properly positioned to be loaded for deliveries.
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work ticketsEnsure the yard is clean and organizedAssist Delivery Drivers when necessaryEducation and/or experience: Valid Driver's License (CDL not required)One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferredKnowledge, skills and abilities:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work with limited supervisionPhysical requirements: Sit or stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to frequently get in and out of vehiclesAbility to lift up to 75 poundsAbility to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors and changing temperatures)
Responsibilities:
Move vans from Yard to Fulfillment centerClean inside and outside of vansPerform inspection of vehicles both before, and after, operationRead work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs.Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work ticketsEnsure the yard is clean and organizedAssist Delivery Drivers when necessaryEducation and/or experience: Valid Driver's License (CDL not required)One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferredKnowledge, skills and abilities:
