Construction industry experience Loader operation Hydraulics Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable End Dump and Dump Truck Drivers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks, including end dump and traditional dump trucks, to transport materials across construction sites and job locations. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, combined with a strong safety mindset, will ensure efficient deliveries and support the smooth progression of construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to building infrastructure and completing vital projects. Responsibilities Operate end dump trucks and dump trucks safely and efficiently across various construction sites. Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other construction supplies using appropriate equipment like excavators, loaders, or backhoes. Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to deliver materials accurately and on schedule. Assist with the operation of auxiliary heavy machinery such as graders, dozers, water trucks, or horizontal drilling equipment when required. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, loads, fuel consumption, and maintenance records. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to uphold a safe work environment. Experience Proven experience operating commercial dump trucks or similar heavy equipment in construction settings. Mechanical knowledge of truck systems, hydraulics, and basic maintenance procedures. Familiarity with operating excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, or tankers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures. Prior experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks; experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
