Dump Truck Driver

Smith County Kansas Road Department is accepting applications for full time Road Maintenance/Equipment Operators to be based out of our Smith county shop. Pre-employment drug test required. Must be 18 or older with valid driver's license. On the job training provided.

Some of the duties include:

Performing preventative maintenance on County owned equipment and vehicles and assists in the servicing and repairs. Operating wheel loaders to load dump trucks with material, then hauling material around the county for road projects. Hauls materials such as gravel and rock for placement on county roads and bridge approaches. Hauls road and bridge materials to and from project sites. Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

Starting at $19.00+ an hour, $0.50 raise after 6 months, $0.50 raise after 1st year, yearly merit pay raises
