About the
Job Job Description:
The Commercial Driver and Construction Yard Technician is a combination position that consists primarily of operating a truck and/or trailer to pick up or deliver job materials, supplies and equipment. This position also includes performing basic vehicle or equipment maintenance and repair tasks as well as construction yard organization and maintenance.
Work Hours:
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.
Job Requirements:
Attention to detail. Valid driver's license (CDL is not required). Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test Comfortable with driving a pickup truck pulling a trailer. Ability and willingness to adapt to varying assignments throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Deliver and/or pick up materials, supplies or equipment for jobs. Deliver and pick up from equipment from repair shops. Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks per the direction of supervisor. Maintain the construction yard and inventory per the direction of supervisor. Other assignments as needed by supervisor.
