CDL Hazmat Truck Operator (Day Cab)

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL Hazmat Truck Operator operating a Day Cab tractor-trailer Or Heavy Truck. Duties Safely operate a manual transmission tractor-trailer, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) following strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, safety checks, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders when necessary to coordinate deliveries or address issues promptly Experience 2 years CDL experience with Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery operations Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks in various configurations such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks Prior work involving freight handling, load & unload procedures, and safe cargo securing techniques Familiarity with Hazmat regulations and proper handling procedures for hazardous materials transportation Demonstrated knowledge of DOT compliance standards related to trucking and hazardous materials transportation Delivery driver experience with a track record of punctuality and safety in fast-paced environments Willing to work in Mining Conditions to operate pumping/augering functions - training will be provided.
