Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of heavy equipment and a solid understanding of construction site operations. This role involves transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities Ensure that the Driver is an Independent Contractor who will be self-employed (1099) and must comply with DOT regulations Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers. Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle operations and comply with all transportation regulations. Collaborate with site supervisors to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Assist in loading and unloading materials as required while ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Perform basic mechanical maintenance on vehicles when necessary. Independent Contractor covenants and agrees that at all times during the term of the agreement that he/she will sign before starting to work.  Comply with company rules and regulations, including random drug and alcohol tests. Experience Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with various heavy machinery, including Caterpillar equipment, is preferred. Experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks is highly desirable. Previous construction site experience is essential for understanding site dynamics and safety protocols. Knowledge of horizontal drilling and paving operations is a plus. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
