Hauling Sandboxes .The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our freight operations. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across local and regional routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive specialized trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, roll-off, or other commercial vehicles based on assignment Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., Refrigerated trailer, Tanker) Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery experience Ability to operate manual transmission trucks proficiently Experience with various truck types such as flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off truck is preferred Familiarity with load & unload procedures and freight handling safety protocols Ability to operate additional equipment like forklifts when necessary Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving Excellent driving record with a clean background check and ability to pass drug screening if required Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections Join our team as a Truck Driver to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
