Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle handling will ensure smooth operations across multiple delivery scenarios. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling according to safety standards and cargo specifications. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Manage documentation related to deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and delivery confirmations with precision. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure optimal performance throughout shifts. Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate routes, schedules, and delivery priorities. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a solid understanding of route driving and freight handling. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and effectively. Experience driving various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading cargo efficiently. Prior experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is highly desirable. Pay:

$23.67 - $28.51 per hour
