Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, concrete mixers, and other heavy equipment to transport materials to and from construction sites Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders, excavators, or other machinery while adhering to safety protocols Support construction activities by operating equipment like concrete pumps, rebar installation tools, and concrete finishing tools on-site Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance before each shift Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate deliveries, material placement, and site logistics Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and equipment usage in accordance with DOT regulations Perform basic mechanical checks on vehicles and machinery; report any issues promptly for maintenance Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, concrete mixers, excavators, loaders, or similar heavy equipment in a construction environment Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and heavy equipment operation standards Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting Familiarity with concrete forming, paving, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques is highly desirable Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Embark on a career that drives progress!
