Moffett Truck Operator QXO, Inc. (

The Moffett Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customer locations and job sites using commercial vehicles equipped with a Moffett forklift system. This role combines CDL driving responsibilities with operation of truck-mounted equipment to ensure accurate deliveries, safe material handling, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in fast-paced construction and delivery environments. What you'll do: Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT and company regulations Deliver building materials to customer locations and active job sites accurately and on time Secure materials properly for safe transport and delivery Operate Moffett or truck-mounted forklift equipment safely and effectively Load, unload, and place materials at job sites while following all safety procedures Perform daily inspections and operational checks on vehicles and equipment Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members Verify delivery accuracy and support proper documentation processes Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude during deliveries and site interactions Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures Maintain a clean driving record and safe work practices at all times Support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations What you'll bring: Strong commitment to safety and responsible equipment operation Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and order accuracy Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor and construction environments Valid CDL Class A or B license in good standing Required hoisting or equipment operation certification/licensing (where applicable) Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements Experience operating Moffett or truck-mounted forklift equipment Experience in building materials, drywall, or construction environments Familiarity with load securement and job site safety practices Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required Work is performed in outdoor, warehouse, and active construction environments Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions, equipment, and job site hazards Frequent climbing, lifting, and operation of heavy equipment Ability to work early mornings, overtime, or extended hours based on business needs What you'll earn: Health Care Benefits 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off Benefits for union‑represented roles are determine d by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits. Salary Range:
USD $27.73 - USD $34.70 /Hr.
