Carr Hardware & Rental is a nationally recognized, independently owned hardware and rental company proudly serving our communities across the Berkshires. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Seasonal Driver / Rental Runner to support our rental and retail operations during our busiest months. • this role is for you. What You\'ll Do This role supports both rental and retail operations and requires flexibility and teamwork. Delivery & Setup
• Deliver rental equipment and party rentals (tents, tables, chairs, tools, lifts, etc.)
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely
• Set up and break down event rentals professionally
• Review rental agreements with customers on-site
• Provide basic operating instructions and safety guidance Store & Warehouse Support
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Move inventory between locations
• Maintain organization of rental yard and warehouse
• Clean and inspect returned rental equipment
• Tag and stage equipment for upcoming reservations Customer Service
• Represent Carr Hardware professionally at customer sites
• Build strong relationships through reliability and courtesy
• Communicate clearly with store teams regarding delivery status
• Support add-on sales opportunities (PPE, accessories, etc.) What We\'re Looking For
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and pull trailer
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable interacting with customers
