Job Description

CDL Driver Norwood, MA Description:
M.S. Walker, a leading wine and spirits wholesaler, is seeking reliable and motivated Class B CDL Delivery Drivers to join our team! This role is responsible for driving company trucks to deliver cases of product to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner while representing M.S. Walker with excellent customer service. Full-time hours, 4 days per week (Tuesday - Friday). Local 25 Teamsters Union Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Safely operate company delivery trucks in compliance with all DOT and company regulations Deliver wine and spirits products to customer locations accurately and on time Complete routes that may consist of 27+ delivery stops per day and loads exceeding 500 cases Load, unload, and deliver product using hand trucks and other equipment Accurately complete delivery documentation and invoices according to company standards Verify product quantities and ensure correct product is delivery to each customer Maintain a professional and positive image of the company with customer at each stop Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers as needed Requirements (including but not limited to): Possess clean driving record Drug/Alcohol free according to D.O.T. requirements Pass D.O.T. physical Must be organized and possess good communication skills Must be able to work up to 14 hours per day, Tuesday - Friday Ability to recognize and distinguish product essential Must be able to deliver loads in excess of 500 cases and complete in excess of 27 route stops per day Must be able to complete proper documentation of invoices according to Company policies and standards Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to: Long periods of sitting, standing, bending and lifting The ability to lift single cases weighing in excess of 50 lbs The ability to handle a 2-wheeler with up to 250 lbs. maximum weight up and down stairs and in tight quarters Must be physically able to do repeated entry and exit of truck cab and box during the course of the day

Pay Range:
The starting pay for this position is $34.30 per hour with annual raises for union employees based on the union contract.
