Job Description

Shift requiements Shift time is from 6pm-2am, you will have two shifts a min. a week, off Friday & Saturdays. There are two routes you will be trained on and would need to able available to cover shifts for each team member and theirs routes for sick time and PTO, within a 16-24 hr window. You will need to be able to drive a NON_CDL 26' box truck without incident at 14 stops and 16 drop-off points within Boston Metro Area. Hand truck, pallet jack and forklift experience and the ability to move freight to instructed locations Is required. Drivers will gain experience in route execution, freight handling, customer coordination, and safety compliance , with clear opportunities to grow into Lead Driver, Route Specialist, or Transportation Coordinator roles .

Key Responsibilities Vehicle Operation & Route Execution Safely operate a company box truck in compliance with all DOT and company safety requirements Complete daily deliveries and pickups according to assigned routes and schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues immediately Adjust driving behavior based on road, traffic, and weather conditions Freight Handling & Delivery Accuracy Load and unload freight in accordance with approved shipping documentation Verify shipment accuracy prior to departure and report discrepancies immediately Ensure freight is secured and protected during transport Follow all cargo control procedures and prevent damage or loss Safety & Compliance Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and medical documentation Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols at all times Use required PPE including safety boots, high-visibility vest, and gloves when handling freight Comply with mobile devices and distracted driving policies while operating vehicles Ensure vehicles remain locked and secured when unattended Site & Operational Compliance Follow all facility access, sign-in, and security procedures when entering customer or warehouse sites Maintain professional conduct and adhere to client-specific rules and expectations Support loading/unloading coordination with warehouse teams and site personnel Incident Reporting & Accountability Immediately report any accidents, injuries, near misses, or safety concerns Submit required documentation and reports within required timeframes Maintain high delivery accuracy and on-time performance Teamwork & Initiative Communicate effectively with dispatches, warehouse teams, and supervisors Assist with freight handling and operational needs when required Identify and communicate process or safety improvement opportunities Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn
Qualifications Required:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to meet DOT medical and safety requirements Strong commitment to safety and compliance Ability to lift, move, and handle freight safely Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred:
Experience in delivery, warehouse, or logistics environments Familiarity with route driving and customer-facing service Exposure to freight handling and load verification processes Military experience (highly valued) Work Environment Local and regional driving routes Frequent loading and unloading of freight Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance/equipment) Outdoor and warehouse environments Flexible scheduling based on delivery needs
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Application Question(s): Shift time is from 6pm-2am, you will have two shifts a min. a week, off Friday & Saturdays.
