Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Dump Truck Driver with either a Class A or Class B commercial driver's license to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience will contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload construction materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other aggregates efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of the dump truck to ensure optimal mechanical condition and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist with the coordination of material deliveries on construction sites, working closely with project managers and other heavy equipment operators. Support excavation activities by operating related equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, water trucks, and tankers when required. Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, material loads, and inspection reports for compliance purposes. Follow all safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment. Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks with Class A or Class B licenses in a construction or heavy equipment environment. Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling equipment, and paving machinery. Hands-on experience with construction site operations and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety standards related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. Prior work involving construction projects that require coordination with multiple types of heavy machinery such as backhoes and horizontal drills is preferred. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Join us in building something great!
