Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks and tractor trailers. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Starting at $25.00/hour for a 45 day probationary period. After probationary period is up, hourly pay will be assessed. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers and dump trucks ( Mainly Tri-Axle Dump ). Load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Manage the manual transmission of vehicles when required. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck . MUST have the ability to work a GPS. •Mostly local work but may be some out of state runs• Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Be at least 25 years of age At least 2 years Tri-Axle driving experience Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of freight handling. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
