Job Overview As an Independent Contractor Driver operating a 26ft box truck with a liftgate, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient deliveries. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while providing outstanding customer service, handling freight, and navigating route driving with confidence. Duties Safely operate a 26ft box truck with a liftgate for local deliveries and pickups Load and unload cargo using a pallet jack Deliver packages to customers' locations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading from the tail of your truck Communicate clearly with dispatchers regarding delivery status or issues Maintain your operating authority, insurance, vehicles, and drivers in a professional manner Qualifications 26ft Box Truck with Liftgate and Authorized DOT/MC# with $1 Million Auto/$250k Cargo Insurance Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with box trucks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards Ability to load & unload cargo safely using pallet jacks Strong customer service skills to provide friendly, professional interactions at delivery points Physical ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform manual labor as neededJoin us to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering excellence!
