Job Summary Join our dynamic moving company as a Driver and Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient relocations for our clients. This energetic position combines hands-on labor with professional driving responsibilities, offering an engaging opportunity to be part of a team that values hard work, safety, and excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting household or commercial items while providing top-notch support to our customers throughout the moving process. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport clients' belongings to designated locations Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using heavy lifting techniques and tools such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit Follow established routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during pickups and deliveries Maintain cleanliness and routine inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal operation and safety standards Support team members with general labor tasks including organizing storage areas and preparing items for moving Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred Proven delivery driver experience or route driving background in moving or courier services Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely and effectively Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is desirable Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients Physical stamina to handle long hours of loading, unloading, and driving in various weather conditions If you're motivated by physical activity, enjoy working independently as well as part of a team, and take pride in delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!
