Public Works Equipment Operator/Worker

Full time equipment operator / worker. Class B CDL required, Class A desired. Minimum starting wage $24 . Maintain roads in the summer, including manual labor and traffic control, plow roads in the winter. Support other Public Works projects, repair or assist repair of equipment when needed. Must be able to report within 30 minutes during winter for on call snow plowing. Willing to train. Requirements:

Valid Class B (or Class A) State of Maine driver's license and ability to pass a drug test (CDL drug testing program) Ability to pass background check, DOT physical and drug test Ability to perform labor intensive and physically demanding jobs such as digging, raking, chainsaw operation, etc.

Willingness to learn Desired skills:

- Dump truck and truck loading experience - Road plowing Normal working hours are 6 am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday and vary seasonally.
