Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and 10-wheeler. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all transportation regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers and 10-wheel box trucks. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading materials. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to promote a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, and 10-wheel box trucks. Ability to load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
