Log Truck Driver

McGill Trucking of Sumner, MI is seeking a professional truck driver with a positive attitude to haul logs from various sources throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan to surrounding area mills. Duties include driving the self-loading log truck or Crib trailers to the landing, running the self-loader to load the logs, properly securing the logs and delivering to the mills. Experience running a self-loader log truck is a plus but not required. Requirements Clean driving record Minimum two years experience driving a commercial motor vehicle Able to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as periodic random drug tests per DOT regulations Able to sufficiently perform some physical duties such as throwing straps to properly secure the load, climbing up into the self-loader seat, and cross chaining You will be home every day!!
