There will be exposure to dust, landfills, scrap yards, fumes and high noise levels. Required to drive occasionally in hazardous conditions, including weather, tight quarters and blighted areas. Compliance with all DOT, Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles in various road conditions throughout Michigan and surrounding states. Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, checking that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned. Must be able to safely load, haul and dump broken concrete, asphalt, sand, gravel and other construction related materials. Complete all "pre-trip" requirements before each truck run and "post trip" requirements at the end of each shift. Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

High school or equivalent; Valid driver's license. CDL A required.

Driving:

2 years gravel train/walking floor, heavy haul. Ability to operate loader, dozer and excavator is a PLUS. Physically be able to load and unload trucks; Able to lift 50lbs of necessary equipment. Experience in driving in all types of weather conditions. Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and 7-year background check.
