Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Operator and become the essential link in providing prompt, reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you will operate various tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to assist stranded motorists and commercial clients. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will ensure every call is handled efficiently, safely, and professionally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a real difference in drivers' lives during stressful situations. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to recover and transport vehicles of all sizes.. Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring safety for all involved. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns with professionalism. Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Manage conflict situations effectively by remaining calm and professional when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenarios. Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure safety standards are met and maintenance needs are addressed promptly. Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles with a valid driver's license. Familiarity with flatbed towing techniques and the use of specialized equipment such as forklifts Prior customer service experience demonstrates your ability to handle stressful situations positively and professionally. Knowledge of conflict management strategies helps maintain safety and professionalism during difficult interactions. Experience driving under various conditions, including urban traffic or highway environments, is essential for success in this role.
