Job Description

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Non-CDL Driver to join our growing team in Detroit!
About DO & CO:
We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. Responsibilities:
Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport. Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling. Ensure flights are always catered correctly. Cater to DO & CO's client's airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely. Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience driving box trucks is required. Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID. Must Pass a criminal background check. Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Many duties performed outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet. Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours. Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
