This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely transporting vehicles, and providing excellent service to customers in need. The Tow Truck Operator will be responsible for operating various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models, and ensuring that all towing procedures are followed correctly. Duties Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate techniques to prevent damage. Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on tow trucks as needed. Manage conflicts with customers calmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain accurate records of towing activities and vehicle conditions. Collaborate with dispatchers to respond promptly to service requests. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while on the road. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with manual transmission systems. Valid Chauffer's driving license is required. Experience operating flatbed tow trucks is a plus. Excellent conflict management skills to handle customer interactions effectively. Must have DOT Med card. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality assistance.
