Local flatbed driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Local/Regional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local routes, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety. Most weekends off, home most nights. Start and end your day in Plymouth MI. 100% Open deck freight willing to train load securement. Must have 2 years of verifiable experience. Must be able and willing to tarp and chain. Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Duties:

• Perform commercial driving tasks such as delivery driver duties and route driving
• Safely load and unload freight as required
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members

Experience:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record and 2 years cdl experience
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to operate forklifts is a plus
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
