This position requires a skilled operator who understands demolition processes, can perform daily equipment inspections, and upholds the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

What you'll do: Safely operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, cranes, and loaders on demolition and construction projects. Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Collaborate with crew members, foremen, and supervisors to execute daily work plans. Assist with demolition, excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Load and unload materials, debris, and equipment from trucks as needed. Transport debris and materials within job sites or to disposal locations. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment after use. Monitor and adjust machinery during operation to ensure efficient performance. Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly. Maintain a clean and organized job site and support a culture of safety and accountability. What you'll need: Proven experience operating construction or demolition machinery (excavators, dozers, loaders, cranes, etc.). OSHA 10-Hour Certification. Asbestos License and up-to-date Asbestos Physical/Training. Lead Training certification. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials, climb, and work in challenging environments. Strong understanding of demolition and construction processes. Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and communication skills. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as required. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
