Driver

A child care driver/maintenance coordinator is responsible for transporting children to and from childcare facilities while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during transit. This role combines driving duties with direct child care responsibilities and child care center maintenance.

Key Responsibilities Transportation & Safety :

Drive children to and from childcare centers, schools, or activities in a safe, courteous manner, following all traffic laws and facility safety rules Acres of Diamonds +1 .

Child Supervision :

Maintain constant supervision of children during transport, helping them follow safety rules when boarding, exiting, and moving around Acres of Diamonds.

Vehicle Maintenance :

Perform daily checks of tires, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, fuel, and safety equipment; report malfunctions promptly Acres of Diamonds.

Cleanliness & Comfort :

Keep the vehicle clean and comfortable, adjusting temperature, sounds, and seating as needed Acres of Diamonds.

Communication :

Inform staff or parents if children are late, have behavioral issues, or need special assistance Acres of Diamonds.

Record Keeping :

Maintain accurate records of routes, children transported, and any incidents Career Trend.

Team Collaboration :

Attend staff meetings, build positive relationships with staff, parents, and volunteers, and maintain confidentiality Acres of Diamonds. Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
