The Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Foundation Crew Member with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in our construction operations, with responsibilities ranging from equipment and material transport to hands-on foundation work at various job sites.

Responsibilities Safe Transport:

Operate heavy-duty trucks (dump trucks and trailers) to transport materials and machinery to and from job sites in the Ann Arbor/Washtenaw County area.

Equipment Loading:

Securely load and unload heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, scaffolding) using chains, binders, and ramps.

Tasks:

Assist excavation lead with pre job load ups, jobsite staging, various excavation and landscaping related tasks on site. Must be willing to do hand work.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR). Maintain logs and ensure the fleet is kept clean and in good working order.

Compliance:

Adhere to all DOT regulations, weight limits, and safety protocols to ensure a "zero-accident" environment.

Professionalism:

Act as a representative of MBK when interacting with suppliers and neighbors near our residential job sites.

Qualifications Licensing:

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (MVR).

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of professional driving experience, preferably in a construction or landscaping environment.

Skills:

Proficiency in backing trailers into tight residential driveways and navigating narrow city streets.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and assist with physical labor on-site as needed.

Endorsements:

Air brake endorsement required.
