Local Driver $27 - $30 CDL Class A Van/Flatbed

CDL Class A Local driving position will use a 53' dry van or 48' flatbed to pick up and deliver freight within a radius that will start and return the driver from and to our Blaine, MN terminal within the 14 hour work day. Loading and delivering commodities may require the operation of auxiliary equipment and machinery. A driver may have to lift a certain amount of weight, which may include up to 75 pounds, but certainly not limited to that weight. Driver will need to continue to meet minimum requirements outlined by the United States Department of Transportation.

Requirements:

Complies with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Company policies. Driver must be able to operate tractor-trailer combination units transporting safely and efficiently all assigned shipments. Flatbed experience (strapping only, no tarping) Hooking and unhooking trailer from tractor Performs all loading and unloading procedures as required including proper securement of all freight. Know the varying commodities that need special attention and assist in properly securing the freight. Provide good oral communication skills with management, customers, employees and general public, along with reporting service failures and delays immediately to the proper company representatives. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections as required by company policy, state, federal, and local laws to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Delivery or pick-up of freight, proper completion of bill of ladings, and securing freight, this may include physical loading and/or unloading. Reports all accidents, spills or property damage, regardless of extent of damage or injury, immediately to the proper company representative. Conduct all work ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all company team members and motoring public. At Least 2 Years of Commercial Semi-Tractor/Trailer Class A Driving Experience At Least 23 Years of Age No DUI/DWI in Past 5
