Seasonal Yard Staff

Great Lakes Stone Supply, Inc. is seeking a dynamic employee to work in our Landscaping and Masonry supply yard. The right candidate will possess the skills to perform a variety of job functions both in and outdoors. The candidate should possess the skills to work in a fast paced environment. Seeking staff member for May through September.

Duties:

Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, skidsteer, snow removal equipment, etc. Maintain Great Lakes Stone's property. Transport materials and products within the warehouse or distribution center Load and unload trailers, containers, and customer vehicles/trailers Build and organize pallets or skids for shipping and receiving purposes Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations

Skills:

Experience operating yard equipment prefferred. Mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and maintinance on property, vehicles, and equipment is a plus. Construction/building maintenance experience preferred Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently Clean driving record is required. DOT Medical card is preferred but not required. Commercial drivers license would be a plus and would effect pay scale
