Job Description

Hydro Vac Excavation Operator Requirements (Mandatory) Valid CDL Class A with manual transmission (no restrictions) and tanker endorsement required No more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years No DUI in the past 2 years Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must pass a criminal background check (7-year lookback) Join our growing team as a Hydro Vac Excavation Operator and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality construction and infrastructure projects. In this hands-on position, you'll operate specialized hydro vacuum equipment to excavate around sensitive underground utilities, assist with site preparation, and support a variety of field operations. Key Responsibilities Operate hydro vacuum excavation equipment to safely expose underground utilities Perform daylighting, trenching, and site preparation in accordance with project specifications Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of hydro vac systems and related equipment Assist in operating additional heavy equipment including: Excavators Backhoes Water and dump trucks Follow all company and OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe job site Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and crew members to execute work plans efficiently Support site setup, cleanup, and material handling as needed Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment usage, and safety inspections Why Join Us? Pay:
$37.68 - $61.08 per hour
