• May 20, 2025 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor-trailer combination. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products and materials to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Takes material to destinations and may have backhauls on returning. Communicating and coordinating with supervisor. Obeying and following applicable traffic laws. Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and reports to supervisor any issues with the truck or trailers condition. Will need to do minor truck and trailer maintenance. Schedules all maintenance for tractor and trailer including yearly DOT inspections, oil changes, and get any other issues that would arise fixed. Maintains driver log per federal regulations including the ELD system. Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules. Assists workers in loading and unloading truck. Will help out in other areas of the plant when not driving.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug test.
• Able to enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
• Able to crouch and squat for truck and trailer inspections.
• Be able to lift or push 30 to 100 pounds.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Must have a valid CDL.
• Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months job related experience and/or training.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good attendance record.
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy; keep paperwork and material organized and work area clean and orderly.
• Ability to work well with others, work as a team member and have good communication skills.
• Be self-motivated, quality conscious, have a positive attitude and be opportunistic
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed to complete jobs on time to meet truck schedules.
• Be willing to perform other duties as needed.
