Bulk Truck Driver/Blasting Crew Assistant Working in the explosives industry is an exciting career; however, it is not for everybody. We are a hardy cut of people who prefer working outside, even in the heat, rain, cold, and snow. We work hard and take satisfaction in seeing what our hands have accomplished at the end of the day. We take our showers at night rather than in the morning. Watching a shot go off never gets old; even our most senior people live for it! But first, here are some things you need to know: Smoking is not allowed on the job, so you must be able to go up to 12 hours without smoking or vaping. All applicants must be able to pass a stringent ATF background check and always be drug and alcohol-free. NO felony convictions as required by our Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive license. We conduct pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
