Job Summary Join our team as a Local Truck Driver and become a part of our dream team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in various truck types and driving techniques will help keep our operations running smoothly. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your driving skills and attention to detail make a real impact every day. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, end dumps, side dumps, conveyor trailers and maybe on occasion a dump truck. Load and unload cargo safe and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as skidsteers when necessary Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries within the local area Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout your shift Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while following safety protocols Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards Experience with end dump and side dump trailers is preferred Strong navigation skills for route planning and adherence to schedules Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise fuels our success!
