Position Summary This role supports local city deliveries throughout the Greater Kansas City Metro. Drivers can expect predictable schedules, a supportive operations team, and well‑maintained equipment. Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available.

Pay:

$28

• 30/hr based on experience, plus bonus opportunities

Hours:

40-50 per week

Schedule:

Start time of 7 AM-9:30 AM, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening/weekend shifts Key Responsibilities Operate a tandem‑axle day cab with a 53' trailer for local deliveries Occasionally operate a 26' box truck and lift gate Load and unload freight using proper equipment (this is not a no‑touch position) Verify cargo condition, secure loads, and collect required signatures Follow DOT, FMCSA, TSA, and all safety procedures Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers Safely lift up to 70 lbs and operate a forklift or pallet jack Assist with warehouse duties as needed Candidate Requirements 2 years CDL Class A experience , including 1 year operating a 53' trailer in city environments Strong knowledge of the Kansas City area Valid CDL A and clean driving record Ability to deliver to schools and military bases Ability to pass TSA screening, background check, and drug test Strong communication skills and a safety‑focused mindset Personal smartphone with GPS and headset No DUI convictions within the last 7 years Current DOT medical card and clean MVR Benefits & Perks 60% company‑paid health insurance premiums Retirement plan with company match Dental & vision group plan insurance Paid holidays and PTO Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Weekend shift bonus Safety bonus program Home nightly Company uniform shirts Quarterly lunches & annual company outing
